For the 11th time, Ricoh has been recognized as one of the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the world by Canada-based Corporate Knights. The 2023 Global 100 assessed 6,720 publicly-traded companies with more than $1 billion in revenue, looking at key indicators that included environmental, social, and governance performance, % sustainable revenue, % sustainable investment, and more. Keypoint Intelligence has recognized the RICOH IM 2500 with the Buyers Lab (BLI) Winter 2022 Pick Award for Outstanding 25-ppm A3 MFP. Highlights from the award include recognition for net maximum uptime through simple routine maintenance procedures, an open platform for deployment of software solutions, fast scan speeds, and a touchscreen that meets the needs of users and administrators to keep everyone productive. Ricoh has been recognized by the EPA as an ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year for the seventh consecutive year. This is also the fifth year in a row receiving the Sustained Excellence distinction, the highest honor awarded by the ENERGY STAR® program. These awards recognize continued leadership and a long-term commitment to addressing climate change and protecting public health through improving environmental technology innovations, continuing work towards a zero-carbon society, and advocating for environmental sustainability in its own operations and promotion to customers, employees, and the wider community. S&P Global, a world leader in corporate sustainability ratings, has awarded Ricoh the Gold Class Sustainability Award in the Computers & Peripherals and Office Electronics industry. Sustainability is assessed in three areas: Economic, Environment, and Society. S&P Global recognizes those companies selected for outstanding sustainability efforts with Gold, Silver, and Bronze Class awards. For 2020-2021, the international Cloud Computing Awards program, better known as the Cloud Awards, has recognized Ricoh as winner of the category for Best Cloud Hosting Provider. Verizon, one of the world’s leading technology companies, has recognized Ricoh USA for its managed services expertise that helped Verizon achieve its sustainability goals. As Verizon’s partner, Ricoh captured and analyzed data that revealed opportunities for more transparent processes, waste reduction, and increased efficiencies. As a result, Verizon was able to adjust behaviors toward more environmentally friendly practices that resulted in conserving paper, lowering operating expenses, and more. The Dow Jones Sustainability World Index has recognized Ricoh as #2 of 33 companies in the Computers & Peripherals and Office Electronics industry, and one of 323 companies around the world. One of the world’s most renowned indices for environmental, social, and governance (ESG) achievement, the DJSI evaluates companies via a stringent process that assesses the company’s corporate sustainability efforts in the areas of economic, environmental, and social development. Dealers awarded Ricoh with the top spot in both the Best Production Print Manufacturer and Best Marketing Strategy categories in The Cannata Report’s Frank Awards for 2020. The award polls dealers on which partner offers the best products, services, and strategies. In a year that saw the second-greatest number of participants ever, dealers cast their votes over the first half of the year with the honors being awarded virtually on November 5. The analysts at Keypoint Intelligence have named Ricoh a 2020-2021 Buyers Lab (BLI) PaceSetter award-winner for its Business Process Services. The award recognizes Ricoh’s Intelligent Business Platform (IBP)SM library of services available on a budget-friendly, “pay as you go” subscription model together with its managed print and managed IT Services that offer Ricoh customers a one-stop shop of scalable services that help customers address their biggest challenges. The Deming Award recognizes corporations and individuals who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to quality control, and whose products or inventions make exceptional advances in the pursuit of quality. Less than 100 select companies have won the Deming Award. Ricoh was the first office equipment manufacturer to win one — and today, we're the only such company to have won two. The criteria include corporate policy, quality systems, education and training, results and future plans.
